Employee or not an employee?

First, know your status. Do you have an employment contract? Or do you have a letter of appointment, 'terms of placement' or licence? If you're not sure - ask your organisational leadership (we can help if you're a member!) Second, how can your faith organisation dismiss you? No one wants to think about getting the sack, but it is reasonable to know the circumstances in which you could be terminated - especially if it possible for you to be terminated without cause or notice.
